February's book of the Month
I know we missed December and January. Lazy owners with stuff going on is to blame. sorry all.
WE NEED SUGGESTIONS FOR BOOK OF THE MONTH. ANY SUGGESTIONS PEOPLE???
we haven't for suggestions since the first one.

So this month, its Dracula by Bram Stoker. It may not be new, but I think its still a awesome book.




November's book of the month
We are just doing it on the same page.
since no one sent in any votes on what the next book of the month should be, I picked at random.
Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton
its the first in a long series about Anita Blake, Animator and Vampire Hunter.
In the series the vampires, were-animals, and some other creatures are very, very real. vampires are even now legally people.
Anita is a animator mostly ( she can raise zombies. no they don't eat everyones brains ) . But she does help the cops with some cases. She is their 'monster's expert'.

it often gets her in interesting and dangerous situations.

It is a wonderful book and I love it. Laurell K. Hamilton is one of my favorite authors.

as fair warning, there is a lot of violence (duh! its a vampire book! ) and it has parts that takes place in a strip club.
the explicit stuff doesn't come till later Books though. But thats another story.





Book of the month sep 24 through oct
Welcome to the first 'Book of the Month' everyone! we thought it might be nice to have a list of Books you can check out. I know some times I wish there was a list. Anyway, each month we will be going a new one.
This one's will be short just because the month is almost up.

This Month's book of the Month is a book that it seems everyone is going on about (including me , ~Chelsea-C ).
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

I myself love the book ( along with the rest of the series, but thats another story ). The book is about a girl who moves into a new town, to stay with her father. The place is rainy and not much for sun but she deals. While she is there she meets a boy named Edward Cullens, Who seems to avoid her like the plague. Amongst other odd things.

I am not good at book descriptions and am not sure how much to write. So sorry all. But! I can give you the link to the site.

I'm sure not everyone feels the same about the book as I do, but there is never something that the whole world agrees on after all. I would suggest this book to some one looking for a vampire book where the vampires aren't just some horror monster.
